  For Adults

This is a first time event held in conjunction with our high school night cross country meets around Wisconsin.  It is an opportunity for former cross country runners to revisit their past and give new runners an experience that does not exist for anyone post high school/collegiate teams.  Every runner should get the chance to experience cross country and a night cross country meet is a great way to experience this.

The following link will show you a short video from one of our high school meets for you to see what it is set up like.  VIDEO

  • Entry/email request needed by Saturday, September 7th.

  • Teams of 5 or more, same gender, to compete as a team. (This is for 18 yrs. and up but must be out of high school.)

  • $120 per team of up to 6 runners - $20 per person for 7th runner on up.

  • Saturday, September 14th, 2024 - Winagamie Golf Course,  3501 Winnegamie Dr, Neenah, WI 54956

  • 5K distance.

  • 7:30 p.m. race time.

  • Genders would score against each other.  As a first time event, I would wait to create any age groups/categories and steer more toward competitive fun with mixed age groups.

  • Would want teams to be dressed with matching/similar tops as uniforms.  Real uniform tops if you wish.  (Contact your former team/coach to see if they have "retired" uniforms and bring them out of retirement and back to the course.)

  • The idea of the event is somewhat invitation only.  If I invite you, you can invite others. I am not putting up signs around Wisconsin or running ads - I want this first time event to be friends and friends of friends.  Laid back, but fun/competitive and let everyone experience cross country - under the lights is a bonus.

Interested runners are asked to contact us at adesportsevents@gmail.com with name and contact information.  They will then be sent a link for payment, copy of a waiver for all team members to sign and bring to the event as well as a form to complete with the team roster/team name.

Please share with running community and let's have some fun.
